I
came to this work out of my own experience with personal crisis -
a life-threatening disease. As a young mother, I was diagnosed
with breast cancer 21 years ago. At that time and with the
help of my therapist, I used Clinical Hypnotherapy &
Interactive Guided Imagery(sm) first, to manage the side-effects of chemotherapy, and second, to deal with other cancer-related issues, and life and death issues. Hypnosis and
Guided Imagery work helped me to get in touch with my strengths and gifts, to recognize the changes I needed to make to be well, and learn how to move forward, finding new meaning and purpose for my life. I was able to take the best of what medical science and technology had to offer and the best of what I personally had to offer to more effectively deal with cancer.
You will have crisis in your
life. The question is how will you approach the crisis? Will you
go through it kicking and screaming, or will you see it as an
opportunity? I consider it a privilege to help individuals turn
crisis into opportunities for healing and personal growth.
